**Marvellous Short-Term Nanny Needed - Red Hill (Term 3)**

**Start Date**: Monday 14 July - Friday 19 September
**Pay Rate**: $38-$40/hr + super (casual) OR $45/hr (ABN)
**Contract Type**: Short-term casual

**Days & Hours**: 27 hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:30am-3:30pm
- Wednesday: 7:30am-10:30am

**About the Family**:
A friendly, professional family with four children and a small dog. Life is busy, lively, and full of activity. In their family time, they enjoy road trips, the zoo, Brisbane Lions games, galleries, museums, park visits, movies, and video games. They’re also hoping to start bike riding together soon. Mum is increasing her study load this term and will be home studying during the day and Dad works full time.

**The Children**:

- **9-year-old Boy**: In Year 4, passionate about dinosaurs, reptiles, dragons, and _Wings of Fire_.
- **6-year-old Boy**: In Year 1, enjoys Pokémon and Roblox and playing with his big brother.
- **2-year-old Boy**: Loves reading, playing games, colouring in. Spidey, Bluey, and Sonic. No naps—just quiet time when needed.
- **10-month-old Girl**: Enjoys eating food with everyone, songs, exploring and generally playing and interacting. She is very close to walking and has walked on occasion. Currently weaning and learning to drink water, she is still breastfeeding as needed. Family is open to naps on the go in the pram.
- All the children enjoy music, the trampoline, hammock and imaginative play.

**What They’re Looking For**:
A relaxed, confident, and experienced nanny who can:

- Build quick connections with the kids
- Be totally comfortable in a busy, very messy household — and take initiative with light household tasks when needed. (4 busy children = lots of mess)
- Create fun, engaging play experiences and outings
- Support routines daily routines

**Daily Tasks Include**:
**Morning**:

- Help the older children get ready for the day: breakfast, packing lunches, dressing, and organising school bags
- School drop-off for the big kids (Mum will be with the younger two during this time)
- Care for the younger two throughout the day:

- Prepare meals and snacks
- Get them dressed and ready for the day
- Nappy changes and baby naps
- Engage in play, reading, walks to playgrounds and nearby cafés
- Tuesday playdates at the park, library, or playgroup

**Afternoon**:

- School pick-up with the younger children
- Let the children play at school until 3:30pm until the completion of the shift (drop off and handover at the family home)

**Household Support**:

- Wash children's laundry
- Help older children put away clothes (or set out for them if short on time)
- Put younger children's clothing away
- Wash and put away dishes
- Tidy up after meals and activities
- Note down any groceries or supplies needed

**Additional Info**:

- Toilet training (toddler) and continued weaning (baby) will begin during this placement
- Opportunity to help build a fun weekly routine for the younger children—e.g. park days, story time, and local outings

**Transport**:
Driver’s licence required. Nanny to use own vehicle (with fuel allowance), or the family can provide their vehicle if they are confident driving a large vehicle.

**Requirements**:

- Current Blue Card / Police Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar nanny or childcare role
- 2 professional references
- Open driver’s licence

**Job Types**: Fixed term, Contract
Contract length: 2.5 months

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ballandean QLD 4382: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Nanning or Childcare: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Blue Card (preferred)
- police check (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
