**OUR COMPANY**

Chan and Li is an Australian owned and established business that services bakeries and restaurants. We have been in the industry for over 30 years and have 2 locations - Sydney and Melbourne.

**THE ROLE**

We are currently seeking a full time Storeman/ pick packer. About 50% of the time will be spent in cold storage, alternating between the coolroom and the freezer. MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A HIGH REACH FORKLIFT

This role has a strong focus placed on customer service, time management and meeting order deadlines with the ability to work autonomously.

Key competencies and duties responsible include:

- Uphold and abide by our safety management system;
- Read and understand orders
- Be able to pick and pack in a safe manner (up to 30kg)
- Communicate clearly and politely with peers, customers and office staff at all times;
- Operate a wrapping machine
- Follow stock procedures as directed and assist with regular stock counts when required; and
- Undertake additional duties as and when required by your warehouse supervisor or management.

**ABOUT YOU** **Current Forklift license is highly valued, but not necessary;**
- Possess a great work ethic;
- Prior experience in the timber industry will be highly regarded, although not essential;
- Proficient written & verbal communication skills;
- Excellent time management;
- Ability to make sound decisions;
- Physically capable of undertaking hands on heavy lifting (up to 30kg); and
- Ability to work autonomously.

**Salary**: $25.00 to $30.00 /hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
- Supply Chain & Logistics Occupations: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
