**Field Supervisor**:
- Location: Balcatta, WA, AU, 6021- 4 Oct 2024As a Field Supervisor, you will be Responsible for the daily supervision and coordination of operational field crews in conducting planned and unplanned network activities to ensures all assigned field-based work is completed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner whilst maintaining the integrity of the network.
**Your Role in Action**
- Coach safety representatives, prepare and present safety meetings and practice safe work principles.
- Arrange site inductions for crews and contractors.
- Maintain awareness of staff competencies through network compliance
- Ensure workers have required competencies to perform the tasks.
- Evaluate and accept 4-6 week works packages from Works Program and Planning
- Distribute on-site work activities to teams, ensuring that the workload is appropriately distributed to ensure resource utilisation.
- Ensure prompt attendance of crew members to faults and isolate the network for repairs to maintain the integrity of the network and minimise customer impact.
- Responsible for review and sign off for all time sheets, including approving overtime hours to be worked and validating hours registered on the time sheet.
**What Makes You a Great Fit**
- Relevant and current trade-based qualification in a discipline such as - Electrical Fitter / Mechanic Certificate 3, Trade Certificate or Distribution / Transmission Overhead or Certificate 3 Distribution Cable Jointer or equivalent
- At least 10 to 12 years demonstrated, extensive and broad technical experience in networks or transmission/distribution industry, including appropriate licenses or certificates of competency
- Highly developed teamwork and customer focus skills
- Demonstrated experience in the implementation and execution of operation plans
- A sound knowledge of networks construction maintenance and operations field practices
- Incident investigation skills
- Highly developed teamwork and customer focus skills
- Advanced written, verbal and report writing skills
- Experience in negotiation, conflict resolution and managing public and stakeholder relations
- Computer literate: Ellipse, MS Office suite -Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Valid WA Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’
