**Position Overview**:
As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and supervising a team of 5-6 individuals, ensuring the smooth operation of the production process.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Supervise and lead a team of 5-6 assembly workers
- Ensure all assembly processes are carried out efficiently and to the highest quality standards
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Monitor work schedules and ensure on-time completion of tasks
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment
- Collaborate with production manager to optimise assembly processes
- Identify and report any quality or safety issues
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and improvements
**Experience & Qualifications**
- Proven experience in assembly or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to workplace safety
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus
