**Are you an enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist looking to join a highly experienced interdisciplinary Allied Health team?**

**About the role**:
The Exercise Physiologist participates as a member of the Ambulatory Rehabilitation team, providing a comprehensive range of therapy services to patients receiving supported early discharge and home rehabilitation within the southern metropolitan area. The Exercise Physiologist may also provide specialist services to patients living in rural and remote areas of South Australia utilising technology such as videoconferencing to provide intervention. Reporting to the Manager Home Rehabilitation, Telehealth and Outreach Services and Director Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology as the Exercise Physiologist you will work in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team, to effectively plan and provide therapeutic interventions based on patient goals.

Duties for this role may involve:

- Planning and implementing intervention programs including using a broad range of technologies including tablets, videoconferencing equipment and therapeutic exercise apps
- Providing advice regarding Exercise Physiology to other team members, disciplines and agencies
- Collaborating with other team members and community agencies
- Linking patients and carers with relevant community resources and services

**About you**:

- Evaluate issues related to Exercise Physiology care in a manner which can be applied to quality activities, service evaluation, professional education or research with a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification and eligible for accreditation from Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
- Experience as a clinician in the assessment and provision of team based rehabilitation to clients with a variety of conditions requiring a rehabilitative focus
- Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards
