Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is eager to recruit an Exercise Physiologist to work in our dynamic, growing and supportive team, to help us deliver exceptional care to our community.

**About the Role**:
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people living with chronic conditions? We have a unique and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team in the Allied Health Intermediate Care Service (ICS) at NALHN.

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting individuals with diabetes, chronic cardiac and chronic lung conditions and other complex chronic conditions, helping them manage their health and reduce the need for hospital admissions.

At ICS, our multidisciplinary team includes experienced clinicians in Dietetics, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, interdisciplinary complex self-management support services (CONNECT and CHAMP) and Exercise Physiology. We work together to deliver comprehensive services bridging the gap between hospital care and community support. Our focus is on optimising functional outcomes, empowering clients to live life on their terms, and improving the overall health and wellbeing of those we serve.

As an Exercise Physiologist, your responsibilities will include:

- providing clinical services inclusive of 1:1 assessments and exercise based therapy, both 1:1 or within a group setting
- leading and supporting Allied Health Assistants, offering training and mentorship
- supervising students on placement, sharing your expertise and fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals
- collaborating closely with the ICS Exercise Physiology team and other interdisciplinary professionals within NALHN to deliver integrated care
- continuously advancing your professional development and clinical knowledge, contributing to quality improvement and service enhancement
- engaging in research and service development initiatives to further elevate patient outcomes

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, usually in human movements, inclusive of the exercise physiology elective and eligible for accreditation from Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
