**About the Role**

The Garden/Maintenance Officer is responsible for providing general maintenance to clients within our Home Care Team. Your green thumb and love for the outdoors will enable you to make a positive impact in our Clients lives. This position requires daily travel as you will be servicing Greater Brisbane.

The types of services you will provide include:

- Mowing, fertilising, pruning and garden rubbish removal;
- Maintaining an inventory and preventative maintenance schedule of mowers, whipper snippers and all motorised garden equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations;
- Completing records using the organisation's Procura client reporting and recording system (training provided).

Remuneration for this role is $25.66 per hour commensurate with experience.

**About You**

You are an experienced, highly organised Maintenance Officer with a proven capability to self-manage and prioritise. Your excellent communication skills and compassionate nature will allow to you to build relationships with our much-loved clients as you resolve gardening and maintenance issues as they arise.

In order to be successful in this role your skills knowledge and experience will include:

- Applied knowledge of Workplace Heath and Safety requirements, or the ability to acquire within one month of employment;
- Demonstrated experience in a handyman/maintenance role;
- Current driver's licence;
- Home and/or garden maintenance certificate would be an advantage;
- National Police Certificate or the ability to acquire.
