Risk Analyst

**Overview**

Sportsbet is seeking a Risk Analyst to support our Sports trading teams and deliver best-in-category risk management and user experience for our customers.

**About the role**

Key responsibilities include:

- Monitor customer betting and bet acceptance
- Assisting traders with risk/trading analysis and budget forecasting and review.
- Liability management and customer profiling
- Relationship building with relevant internal stakeholders
- P&L performance reporting & optimisation
- Identify and remove customer pain points and resolve pricing / settlement errors
- Delivering against KPI’s day-in-day-out

The Risk & Trading team at Sportsbet adopt a flexible 5 day working week policy based on customer needs to ensure a great work-life balance for our staff, however there is a requirement for weekend work (rotating roster). Shifts will generally fall between 7am - 10pm.

**About You**

We’re looking for enthusiastic, proactive people to run the day-to-day operations. This role would suit those with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work calmly but efficiently under pressure.

If you are adaptable, well organised and enjoy being in the heart of the action this may be the role for you. Along with this, someone who has:

- Outstanding attention to detail and enjoys working with numbers (mathematically)
- Adaptable and able to multitask well for extended periods
- Enjoys rolling their sleeves up to get the job done whilst having fun along the way
- Strong collaborator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion and general understanding for all things sport in Australia
- Experience in the wagering or racing industry will be highly regarded but not essential
