As an Allied Health Assistant in the Rehabilitation Services team at Altius Group, you will provide direct support to our Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist and Physiotherapists who provide a range of comprehensive occupational rehabilitation health, injury management and recovery services. Altius Group delivers services to individuals nationally across Australia, where you'll be based out of our
**Lithgow, NSW** branch. Navigating complex nature of injuries, individuals, work and home environments, relationships, and personal injury schemes - is what we do best

**About you**
- You love working within a friendly, supportive and collaborative team environment
- You have excellent time management skills and enjoy assisting a team of multidisciplinary allied health professionals
- You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task and be organised.
- You are great at building relationships and enjoy working with key stakeholders
- You pose a high level of resilience and demonstrate the drive to continuously learn
- This role will suit a current 3rd or 4th year Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist student and is passionate about working in occupational rehabilitation industry. _

**The role you will be doing**
- Work alongside practitioner and workers who have sustained an injury or illness in the workplace
- Contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the rehab needs of individual
- Supporting return to work planning for occ-rehab claims, certificates of capacity and approvals for services
- Assist with developing detailed written reports that support workers' goals and outcomes
- Maintain up to date information, data and documents for all workers'
- Collaborate and liaise with medical practitioners and allied health professionals

**To be considered, you are**
- Currently undertaking a tertiary allied health qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapy
- Willing to obtain a National Police Check
- Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
- A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
