Community Care Workers Needed for Immediate Start

A typical day will see you supporting a diverse range of clients in their homes and/or community. You will be responsible for the delivery of individual and person-centred support that enhances your clients' independence, social and community participation and helps them achieve their goals in accordance with their care plans. You will support each client to maintain their independence by providing assistance with daily living tasks such as:

- Personal care
- Domestic Assistance
- Medication Monitoring
- Social Support
- Transport
- Respite Care

The common thread evident in each and every day is your provision of care delivered with empathy, professionalism, kindness and dignity. You will positively impact clients' lives by increasing their independence and autonomy and reducing their experience of disadvantage.

In addition to having a:

- Certificate IV in Aged/ Community Care, Disability or Individual Support
- And/or proven experience in the field

you also **must have** or be willing to obtain** the following:

- Current Police Clearance Certificate **AND** Current Working with Children's Check **AND **a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
- Mandatory competencies (as required by Colbrow Care)
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Current Driver’s License and reliable transport preferred but not essential.
