**The Role**

Reporting into the Acquisitions Manager within our NITV Commissions team this role will see you undertake the following duties:

- Acquisitions_
- Research and recommend the acquisition of produced content according to channel strategy
- Develop and maintain relationships with content suppliers
- Ensure acquisitions content framework aligns with NITV content strategy
- Work closely with the SBS Commercial, Content Discovery and Programming to ensure smooth delivery of assets and ongoing contractual obligations
- Programming_
- Support the Programmer to create the NITV schedule using the SBS Broadcast Management Database (IBMS) and maintain all aspects of the process.
- Liaising with the programmer to curate the daytime schedule
- Working with the programmer to manage the stock and ensure all content is fully utilised by expiry date.
- Planning and Communications_
- Maintain the Key Programming Events Calendar for the Channel ensuring it is updated regularly and available for all relevant departments within NITV.
- Liaise with Digital, Publicity and Promotions to support key content moments across the schedule including Highlights Documents.
- Metadata, Reporting & Analytics_
- Maintain metadata in IBMS as well as collate information and provide reports as required.
- Provide Audience Analytics to support the Planning and Priorities Manager and Acquisitions Manager to make informed decisions

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder skills and the ability to find ways to engage new audiences for our content. You should be comfortable working with audience analytics and implementing benchmarks that will in turn allow you to provide insights back to the broader business.
