**About the role**

Reporting to the Penfolds National Business Development Manager, this role is tasked with developing new and incremental business to significantly enhance the availability and activation of Penfolds wines in key on-premise venues and independent retailers. Based at our Penfolds spiritual home, Magill Estate, the primary focus will be on the Adelaide CBD and surrounding areas, with additional responsibility for managing the Northern Territory and Tasmania, along with some regional accounts as needed.
- Building the visibility and availability of Penfolds across key accounts such as Hotels (including Hotel Groups), Restaurants (including restaurant Groups & targeted lighthouse venues), Bars and key independent Retailers (including iconic fine wine destinations)
- Identify and target new on-premise business for the listing of Penfolds wines by the bottle and by the glass
- Target new retailers and grow existing relationships to drive increased ranging and availability of the portfolio
- Ensure regular contact with customers, rapid resolution of issues, and facilitate multiple points of contact from senior level management to administrative functions
- High level of detail, follow-up, accountability and professionalism in alignment with the expectations of representing an iconic brand. Be an articulate and passionate advocate for our wines and brand activityResponsible for activating Penfolds's marketing initiatives and programs and undertaking wine education and training, as well as representing Penfolds to employees, guests and consumers at events and dinners

**About you**

We are searching for an FMCG sales professional who understands the importance of building strong relationships and networks. Ideally, you will have wine and/or liquor experience and will be confident in delivering in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong strategic planning skills to develop initiatives to achieve targeted results
- Experience in negotiating business agreements
- Capability to overcome customers' objections and consistently gain an advantage over the competition through superior business proposals and strong persuasive selling skills
