Logan Central, Australia Maxima Full time

Maxima have been engaged to recruit multiple Qualified Librarians for their client in Logan.

This role will see you working up to 36.25 hours per week spanning Monday to Saturday with evening shifts Tuesdays and Thursdays. Casual hourly rate of $42.96 + super.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Undertaking routine library duties
- Providing information and advisory services to customers
- Displaying a consistently high level of customer service
- Participation in library planning and development
- Assisting with the management of programs and activities
- Undertaking routine library duties, including circulation tasks, in accordance with circulation policies and procedures.
- Assisting in the provision of information and reader's advisory services to Library customers.
- Responding to escalated customer enquiries to achieve an effective resolution.

**The right person for the role**:

- Appropriate qualifications in Library Science (mandatory)
- Previous Public Library experience
- Blue card (working with children)
- Ability to undertake a pre-employment physical assessment
- A high level of interpersonal skills
- An ability to effectively prioritise tasks
- Capability to work without supervision
- Exceptional customer service skills
