This is an exciting time to join the **Maintenance Leadership Team** at Macmahon with significant, sustainable growth planned for the underground division.

As **Maintenance Manager - Underground**, Western Australia, you will provide maintenance governance and oversight, operational technical expertise and support to projects with an aim to assist in the delivery of the best in industry maintenance availability at sustainable budgeted costs. This role will be instrumental in advising, collaborating and executing the capital plant strategy of the Underground mobile plant fleet to successful deliver contractual obligations to Macmahon clients.

Reporting to the **Executive General Manager - Underground**, you must also assist the division in a team-based leadership approach that supports the Underground divisions overall success against contractual and regulatory obligations by providing safe equipment, processes and working conditions for our valued employees.

**About you**
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on safety first.
- A minimum of 5 years senior maintenance based leadership experience and operational experience gained on a mine site is essential
- Minimum 10 years post trade experience or an engineering or relevant tertiary qualification is required.
- Advanced knowledge of a range of heavy earthmoving equipment and underground ancillary plant.
- Proven experience managing capital budgets, capital and maintenance strategy
- Strong commercial acumen
- Working knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems
- Knowledge of Industry best practice and advanced knowledge of HSE principles is required
- A relevant front line leadership qualification would be highly regarded
