**About the role**
Our Corporate Affairs team is seeking an experienced communications professional to develop, deliver and evaluate external communications and marketing initiatives that highlight our world-class projects and strengthen Mineral Resources brand.

As Communications Lead, you’ll work closely with key senior leaders to understand the opportunities and priorities within business units and develop engagement and external communications strategies that build awareness and engagement across a range of audiences and stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities**
- Build and execute strategic communications strategies that support projects and initiatives across our key business units and support Mineral Resources’ business strategy.
- Advise key leaders and other business stakeholders on Corporate Affairs matters, including proactive and reactive communications opportunities and emerging issues or threats to the company’s reputation.
- Write creative and compelling copy for a wide range of external communication channels including website and social media content, long-form articles, external publications and presentations.
- Plan and produce engaging video content, with the support of our in-house Brand and multimedia team.
- Draft, review and manage public market communications including ASX announcements, quarterly reports, annual reports, press releases and other investor relations materials.
- Ensure all communications content and materials are delivered in line with MinRes procedures and protocols.

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Tertiary qualifications in in the fields of Communications, Marketing or related discipline.
- 7-10 years’ experience in corporate affairs, communications and brand - experience in commodities, oil and gas, or mining services is ideal but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience working with other corporate affairs disciplines and investor relations functions.
- Excellent writing experience and ability in generating content for a variety of audiences, including digital media.
- Experience in speech writing and gathering research and support for external content.
- Strong project management skills to meet deadlines, quickly establish clear priorities and bring projects to completion on time
- Confidence to work independently and drive engagement with colleagues.
- Proficient in using MS Office suite, WordPress and SharePoint.
