**About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic teacher to join the Inclusive Learning Department on a full-time basis commencing Term 4, 2025 or Term 1, 2026 (negotiable). Someone who will advocate for, and ensure, the equitable treatment of students with individual learning needs within the learning environment.

Our Inclusive Learning Department plays an integral role in the education of many students; students with disabilities, those who are neurodiverse, and students who are gifted or twice exceptional. This is a department which actively develops, implements and supports inclusive educational practices, across the whole school, to meet the needs of our diverse student population.

**About You**
- hold appropriate teaching and tertiary qualifications relevant to the position
- possess extensive understanding of and experience in inclusive education
- have outstanding communication skills with a range of stakeholders, including parents, students, teachers, educational specialists and medical professionals
- lead colleagues to achieve excellence in learning and teaching
- be a dynamic and effective classroom practitioner
- differentiate instruction and cater for a range of learning abilities and needs
- have a thorough understanding of the learning process, including the role of assessment and feedback
- work effectively as a member of a team
- be personally committed to learning and professional growth
- have a strong work ethic
- possess strong ICT competencies
- show a genuine appreciation and commitment to pastoral care
- participate in the College's co-curricular program
- understand and adhere to the College's Child Safeguarding policies and practices
- contribute to the continuous improvement of Child Safeguarding at Newington.
