**About Digital Workplace Technology (within Business Services)**
Business Services provides a full range of class leading information technology, facilities management, finance, HR and health and safety services to all operating entities of the University.

Within Business Services, the Digital Workplace Technology team delivers an industry leading Digital Workplace experience for staff and students with a key focus on designing, implementing, supporting, and transforming core platform capabilities across Windows, Mac, Linux, Citrix, Audio Visual, M365 and Zoom environments.

Our vision, strategy and associated roadmap intends to deliver a simple and seamless end user experience across virtual, remote and hybrid environments. **About the Role**
Play an instrumental role in delivering the next phase of our client computing strategy by optimising how we manage devices across; onboarding, deployment, provisioning, policy configuration, patching, app publishing, automation, reporting and security.

By rethinking our workspace computing ecosystem, you will deliver on modern staff expectations of hybrid ways of working and always being ‘up to date’ and achieve an optimal end user experience that drives collaboration, productivity, and engagement.

Drive and implement solutions across the Microsoft Ecosystem including Modern Endpoint Management, Windows 10/11, Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, Co-Management, Active Directory / Azure Active Directory as well as Citrix Desktops-as-a-Service (DaaS).

Responsibilities include:

- Lead the Microsoft Windows and Citrix platform strategy, roadmap, and technical implementation activities to meet current and future needs of the University
- Lead continuous improvement activities to optimise supported services, practices and processes
- Drive problem management to determine the root causes of incidents and ensure solutions are made available
- Develop the team's technical skillset, manage professional development and growth of team members platform competency

**About You**

You will also have:

- Post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
- Microsoft and Citrix certifications advantageous e.g., Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory etc.
- Extensive experience working with and implementing Microsoft and Citrix Technologies
- High level of competency across service operations, service design and service transition with a high focus on change, incident and problem management including root cause analysis
