Labourer Renewals

Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS) is a Joint Venture between Downer and Ventia that has recently been awarded an exciting 10-year contract to deliver water and wastewater repairs and maintenance services, and renewals project works for the City of Gold Coast.

**THE ROLE**

Our Labourers will be involved in the maintenance and repair activities on pipes and infrastructure including, operating plant or excavation equipment, hand excavation of trenches, installation of pipes and fittings, traffic control, delineation fencing, barriers and establishment of amenities. Some additional work may include:

- Asset inspections
- Planned maintenance to the sewer & water network
- Reactive works such as repairs to burst mains, leaking water services, water meters, & sewer mains & sewer ties.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience working with water or wastewater pipelines and assets
- Confined Space Entry & Work at Heights tickets
- Other tickets relevant to the work will be highly regarded - First Aid/CPR, Implement Traffic Management Plan, Class B asbestos removal, Dogging.
- Driver's License - truck license would also be desirable
- Vaccination for Hepatitis A & B or willingness to obtain (facilitated by GCIS).
