**Trades Assistant for Fitters Needed**

Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for the trades industry? At OptionX Bournedrill, we are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated **Trades Assistant** to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in contributing to our company's continued success. If you are eager to work in a fast-paced environment and provide valuable support to our skilled fitters, then we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**: As a Trades Assistant, you will collaborate closely with our team of experienced fitters to ensure the efficient execution of various projects. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting fitters with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment used in the drilling industry and beyond.

Skillfully handling tools, equipment, and materials to support fitters in their tasks.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive environment.

Running errands and sourcing materials from suppliers as required, contributing to the seamless flow of operations.

Providing valuable general support to fitters during project planning and execution stages.

Championing adherence to all safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Own transport is essential.

3 months probation as Casual.

**Requirements**: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or in a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.

Familiarity with the tools and equipment used in the trades industry.

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects or equipment when necessary.

A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to delivering top-notch workmanship.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a cohesive team.

A proactive and self-motivated attitude to take on tasks as they arise.

**Salary**: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- ARCHERFIELD, QLD 4108: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
