**About Us**:
- Courts, Civil and Criminal Law is part of the Department of Justice and Community Safety and supports the Attorney General to deliver courts, civil and criminal law policy responsibilities. Courts, Civil and Criminal Law supports 28 independent legal entities across the justice portfolio, working collaboratively across the justice system. The group also supports Civil and Enforcement Services (CES), which includes Fines Victoria and Sheriff's Office Victoria.
- Enforcement and Support Services (ESS) is a branch of CES and manages the administration and enforcement of infringement and court fines across the state. The role of the CES unit includes providing advice to the Attorney-General and the government on infringements policy, scrutinising all proposals to introduce new infringement offences or review existing infringements, and providing information to stakeholders (including enforcement agencies) on the operation of the infringements system.
**About the Roles**:
- Some of your other duties will include:
- Providing accurate and timely advice and liaise with other Fines Victoria units, enforcement agencies, and other interested parties.
- Providing support to the Operations Team Lead to ensure the successful administration of the _Fines Reform Act 2014_.
- Assisting in the development, implementation and monitoring of legislation, policies, practices and procedures.
- To be eligible for employment with us, you must:
- be an Australian citizen, or
- be an Australian permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen.
- hold a valid visa which enables you to work in Australia, however please contact the nominated contact person for the position to discuss your eligibility for the role.
