We are urgently looking for a Workshop Assistant to work at our Bayswater base in Perth.
- PERMANENT, FULL TIME POSITION
- Monday
- Friday
- 6:30AM-2PM
- $57-62k per annum

This role will support the Assembly Technicians and be self-motivated and reliable to work as part of a small team.

To provide assistance to the Assembly team in providing all workshop duties with specific emphasis on ensuring the timely movement of parts through the workshop, ensuring that the parts are received, assembled and shipped to the highest specification to meet Client deadlines.

**Requirements**:
Full work right
Clean Police Clearance (valid less than 1 month)
Reside in Perth, Australia (no relocation offered)
No travel restrictions
Proven mechanical aptitude and understanding of a workshop environment
Attention to detail and pride in your work environment (5S knowledge preferred)
Proven work ethic with a flexible attitude to changing priorities
Ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks to ensure quality is maintained
Daily workshop duties, including but not limited to: Reading work orders; updating AIMS database; using hand tools; sandblasting; deburring and engraving
Assist with goods receivable and dispatch
Excellent work ethic, reliable and self-motivated
High degree of QHSE awareness and knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work unsupervised while clearly executing instructions
Very good computer skills
Valid driver's licence
