**About the team**

**The Merchandise team at Coles plays a critical role and pride themselves on building sustainable long term supplier relationships, developing new range offers and ideas, and working on convenient, healthy solutions.**

**You’ll find us working across all business units at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Express. Supermarkets is one of the largest teams at Coles, but we’re a close-knit group that come from all over the world. We’re passionate about working at the forefront of merchandising and making sure our customers have quality products at the right price.**

**About the role**

**As a Product Developer - Bakery at Coles, in this role you will develop and deliver Coles’ brand products with a seasonal focus. You will partner closely with bakery category team and central Own Brand team to understand customer needs to create and deliver a product development pipeline that aligns with our Own Brand and category strategies.**

**You'll also**:

- **Develop and drive the Coles product development and innovation plan**:

- **Effective and timely delivery management of Coles Product and range launches**:

- **Project manage and launch right first-time end to product and packaging delivery**:

- **Champion and maintain ongoing quality standards**:

- **Improve and develop products to ensure effective commercial delivery.**

**About you and your skills**

**This position will suit an experienced Product Developer, with skills across a variety of food categories. You will partner with the bakery category teams to ensure that Coles Brand are effectively represented delivering quality, innovation, and customer choice.**

**You’ll also need**:

- **Tertiary Qualification in Food Science or related discipline**:

- **Proven years of experience in a product development role within a fast-paced environment**:

- **Proven product development and innovation skills to include range architecture, trends, and insights into new and improved products**:

- **Exposure to stakeholder management**:

- **Past project management experience**:

- **Current driver’s license is a requirement**:

- **Demonstrated presentation skills**:
