**About the Role**:
**Immediate Start required**

We are looking for an Experienced Dental Assistant: At least 1 year of dental experience. Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting preferred. Overseas Dental professionals can also apply. Currently offering 2-3 days of full-day shifts, starting from 8 am till 6 pm (Casual). The Role starts as a casual with the potential to be transitioned to Part-time. Remuneration will be based on experience and work ethics.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Chairside assisting.
- Strict Sterilisation processes and the highest standard of infection control.
- Assisting the dentists with all procedures.
- Completing daily duties.
- Surgery and Dental instruments preparation.
- Patient care and management.
- Maintaining a clean and healthy clinical environment.
- Cleaning the clinic premises and reception area.
- Assisting in taking X-rays and OPG.
- When the need arises, managing phones, booking appointments, and front-office admin.
- Closing up Surgeries at the end of the day.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you should have
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Preferably have experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Dental 4 Windows Software experience preferred.
- Be computer savvy and confident in using Excel, Word as well as in learning new software.
- Skills to take OPG scan.
- Be a team player, punctual, honest and outgoing.
- Preferably have a current first aid certificate, a Working with Children’s Check, and a Police Check or be willing to obtain them if required. You must also be able to provide or obtain your full Immunisation record.

**Availability**:
Looking for **Monday, Wednesday, and Friday ( Can be discussed)**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract, Casual

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
