- About the Role

**Please note this position is 5:2 Monday to Friday based in Adelaide with regular travel as required.**
- Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate portfolio culture in alignment with BHP Charter Values and project sponsor requirements, guiding teams toward objectives in safety, inclusivity, and productivity.
- Consistently evaluate and refine solutions, assume accountability for project decisions and results, and proactively manage social, environmental, and commercial impacts across the project lifecycle.
- Build and sustain effective stakeholder relationships within Engineering, Governance, and Projects through ongoing engagement and transparent communication.
- Oversee project resources, including budget, personnel, and portfolio risks, while developing and implementing robust risk mitigation strategies.
- Empower teams to systematically identify and address root causes of issues, implementing structured actions and evaluating options to optimise value and mitigate risks for value-driven project delivery.
- Provide Senior Management with regular updates on portfolio and project performance, as well as progress on remediation actions.
- Provide leadership and communication across various internal and external functions, teams, or partners to ensure compliant technological solutions, including CCTV, process control, cyber, information and operational technology, networking, and hosting.

About You
- To be successful in this role, through strong communication and proven front-line team and project leadership you will deal with manage multiple priorities and competing stakeholders, requiring the ability to delegate tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail. Being naturally curious you will inspire change and make a difference to those around you building relationships across a range of internal and external teams.
- Key experience and attributes:

- Experienced in project portfolio management for processing, minerals, and industrial sectors.
- Skilled at collaborating with technical experts to quickly understand complex issues and create clear business cases.
- Delivered projects using multiple frameworks, including waterfall and Agile, with industry certifications (PMP, PtMP, MoP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMI-ACP).
- Able to rapidly establish rapport and credibility with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
