Shell Energy’s Energy Solutions teams provide behind the meter products and services to large energy consuming customers to lower energy costs, improve energy productivity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

**Melbourne**, the role of the
**Head of Risk and Commercial Management** is to analyse and improve the commercial outcomes of the Energy Solutions business unit. You achieve this through an in-depth understanding products and services, the review and analysis of commercial data and close liaison with senior team members. The position plays a key role within Energy Solutions and is a member of the Management Team.

With honesty, integrity and respect, you will:

- Manage the commercial framework for the product range across sales, legal, delivery and asset management;
- Evaluate and commercialise new product opportunities, including the development of pricing strategies;
- Engage with other Shell Energy entities to ensure Energy Solutions alignment with the broader Shell Energy strategy;
- Develop pricing and project financial models to support Energy Solutions and other areas of Shell Energy as required;
- Undertake regular performance monitoring of each business unit and individual products/services;
- Identify opportunities to optimise business performance;
- Lead the budgeting and forecast planning processes;
- Work with Legal to develop and maintain up to date legal agreement templates;
- Understand the needs of customers across our defined target segments; and
- Undertake critical analysis of industries, competitors, and market segments to identify profitable business opportunities and positioning.

**What you’ll bring**
- Extensive experience within a commercial analysis role;
- Excellent commercial and analytical skills to assess the financial outcomes of new opportunities and existing solutions;
- Proven consultative skills and ability to work in a matrix organisation with cross functional teams;
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the energy sector;
- Excellent time management and organisation skills, with the ability to work on projects with tight timelines and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good problem solving skills and high levels of initiative; and
- Business, Finance, Commerce degree or related tertiary qualification or equivalent.
