**Job Description**:
**The role**

A rare and exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced, driven and proven Education Consultant to manage the commercial success of our leading school's program. We deliver an evidence based social and emotional learning program for schools incorporating tools, resources and initiatives to support teachers to champion & utilise the programs in the classroom.

Smiling Mind is one of Australia's leading digital led prevention focused mental health organisations - in fact through our programs we have reached 220,000 teachers and more than 6m young people through our app and schools program - but it's just the beginning.

We have big growth plans. This is a challenging and inspiring role and we are looking for an intelligent self-starter and exceptional communicator who understands the complexities of delivering social and emotional learning programs in schools, at scale.

You will play a vital role in building mentally healthy schools by helping educators understand, harness and utilise tools to deliver the benefits of mindfulness based social and emotional learning and other mental wellbeing products. We are looking for somebody with a background in education and sales, with proven experience in making an impact and exceeding targets. This diverse role requires identifying new school and education sector leads, managing existing and new client relationships, exceeding sales objectives and working as part of our Education team to build, test and refine our Education offering that results in meaningful change in the Education sector. **On a daily basis you will**:

- Identify and proactively seek sales leads and opportunities with schools nationally
- Build and nurture the education sales pipeline in order to meet and exceed sales objectives
- Collaborate with the Education team to identify, test and refine key product and program initiatives, allowing us to stay at the forefront of our industry

**Qualifications**:

**Do you;**
- Have a background or strong interest in Education and/or Health & Wellbeing?
- Have a strong understanding of school and education systems in Australia?
- Have a deep understanding of school based social and emotional wellbeing programs and mental health initiatives?
- Have proven experience exceeding sales targets, as well as assisting with reporting, analyse and forecasting?
- Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presenting and pitching?
- Actively share sales insights to guide and contribute to product development?
- Enjoy and drive change and transformation?
- Excel at building and nurturing relationships (both internal and external)?
- Have a passionate and driven approach to your work?
- Want to be in charge of your own day?
- Work collaboratively in a small dynamic team environment?
- Have a belief in the power of mindfulness and a desire to help the next generation build their mental wellbeing?
