**The opportunity**

This role supports UniSuper’s commitment to ensuring the integrity of all customer data across the organisation, in line with our internal and external governance and compliance policies. It works with stakeholders across the organisation providing support to the end-to-end development of Data Validation Rules (DVRs) which performs critical data integrity checks across a variety of systems.

Whether it be responding to new DVR requests, or making enhancements to existing ones, you will work with stakeholders to manage the process from initial requests, assessment analysis through to translating into SQL code ready for deployment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring DVRs are developed and tested accurately and timely manner to stakeholder expectations
- Documenting DVR development progress to approval/ sign-off stage for every with approvals for every released rule
- Quality control and peer reviewing DVRs
- Support the wider team with Data Quality Assurance activities
- Support Issue Resolutions with data validation logic to support root-cause analysis and ensure mitigations/ controls are delivered Identify ways to continuously improve current processes and drive these with the Team to completion

**About you**
- Demonstrated SQL skills in translating business requirements into high quality data validation rules
- Strong data skills (analysis, insights, extracts, and reporting) using tools like Excel, SSMS and Power BI
- Issue resolution skills in dealing with ambiguity, diverse stakeholders and multiple data sources
- Ability to work closely with key stakeholders to improve data outputs and streamline processes
- Experience in data analysis & automation using Python is desirable
- Demonstrated ability in using Jira for issue-tracking & documentation using Confluence as BAU activities Experience in highly regulated industries like superannuation and/ or Financial Services is desirable
