Next in Health is pleased to have partnered exclusively with one of Melbourne's most established Aged Care providers in support of hiring their next Care Advisor across the Home Care division. With a rich tradition of love and care, our client has been providing aged care services for elders and their families since 1977.

With exceptional residential facilities and community services this long standing Not For Profit Aged Care Provider is committed to delivering services to Australian elders of culturally diverse Backgrounds, in particular providing unique services both in residential and community care for elderly people of Greek speaking background.

**A typical day for the Care Advisor will include**:

- Manage a portfolio of clients, including their care needs and funding
- Work within a consumer directed care model of service.
- Provide support and leadership to care staff through peer support, supervision and training.
- Ensuring you meet the service delivery, HCP Operational Manual, The Aged Care Act 1997 and Fronditha Care’s quality assurance goals.
- Participate in the Community Services after hours 'on call' service on a rotating basis.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic team.
- Problem solving

**To be considered, you will possess the following**:

- Tertiary Qualifications in Nursing, Allied Health or equivalent
- Proven experience working within a similar role
- Understanding of the Aged Care and Home Care regulations
- Demonstrated experience in managing care packages in accordance to contractual requirements and government programs and guidelines.
- Ability to speak a second language is highly desirable but not essential
- Australian Drivers License
- Ability to work within the Aged Care sector based on the Victorian Government's vaccination requirements
- Fully comprehensive motor vehicle

**Based in Mulgrave this position is a full-time position and requires someone with a drivers license and access to a fully registered vehicle.
