The Brisbane Produce Market is Queensland's only central fruit and vegetable market, and the state's most important centre for the wholesale marketing and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables. It records an annual trade in excess of 700 million kilograms of produce valued at more than $2 billion.
As a representative of these employers, Brismark is currently searching for a Order Picker/Storeperson for Wholesale businesses located in the Brisbane Markets.
This is a **permanent** role **40 hours per week**, **Monday to Friday**, **commencing between midnight and 2am**.
This is a fast paced work environment and therefore this is an **active role** that will require **'hands-on' labouring activities**, therefore you need to **fit and healthy. A** **valid forklift licence is an advantage.**
The duties include intake of stock, grading stock, picking orders, palletising stock, working in a team and communicating with other staff regarding the orders and stock. You will need to be able to **work with the team** and get the job done.
If you have a mature and responsible work ethic, hands-on storeperson experience, a forklift licence and have your own transport, this is an opportunity to join the Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Industry and enjoy an exciting and vibrant work environment.

**Salary**: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

**Experience**:
- Forklift driving: 3 years (required)
- Warehouse: 3 years (preferred)
