The Role
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Health and Wellbeing Manager to join our global H&S team. We believe that engagement is the key to improving health and safety, so the primary purpose of this role is to lead a strategic health and wellbeing function that partners with the business. This role will provide leadership, advice and support to ensure we nurture the health, wellbeing and growth of all staff.
The key to success will be the ability to be both strategic and "hands-on" to deliver practical and tangible outcomes that make a difference for our people and continually lift our Health and Wellbeing culture maturity.
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Lead the development and effective implementation of an all-inclusive health and wellbeing plan that connects to our business strategy, Ethos and Principles, desired growth and performance outcomes
- Identify and maintain a global external network of qualified personnel to deliver a variety of Health & Wellbeing services
- Facilitate a methodical approach to identifying, managing and mitigating psychosocial hazards to create a safe and healthy work environment for all workers and to meet the responsibilities under applicable legislation and related Codes of Practice
What we are looking for
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Wellbeing
- Experience providing advice and support to the workplace in the areas of occupational health, hygiene and wellness
- Experience in developing and executing functional strategic and business level plans and initiatives to enhance the organisations health and wellbeing performance
- A proven ability and experience in providing informed advice and support to key stakeholders in the management of pandemic response.
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities to connect with external partners and initiatives to improve and support Aurecon’s wellbeing needs and objectives
