**About the Role**

As our Associate Director, you are engaging, innovative and bold. In this exciting role, you will lead the development, implementation, and management of a range of NSW government policies, programs and services within our Innovation and Technology team.

In this role, you will also provide expert advice, lead engagement with stakeholders and develop and implement governance and risk management frameworks and processes to achieve the organisational objectives for the Innovation and Technology branch.

This role is best suited for individuals who want to make a direct impact. Not only will you be mentoring up to three (3) direct reports, but you will also be responsible for delivering multiple projects, which aim to support sustainable, productive and high-quality job creation, innovation and investment attraction in NSW, thereby contributing to a prosperous and liveable NSW.

**About You**

You bring appropriate tertiary qualifications, or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.

You have a customer centric mindset and enjoy thinking outside the box.

Your analytical and conceptual thinking skills are your greatest strengths.

You have experience leading Innovation and Technology related engagement and providing expert advice to high-level stakeholders, in a complex and sensitive environment, and in influencing and mobilising others to implement strategies, projects and programs.

In addition, you have experience leading and mentoring high performing and collaborative Innovation and Technology specialist teams, building organisational capability, and leading achievement of agreed performance targets and objectives.

Lastly, you have high-level communication, collaboration and influencing skills, an awareness of cross-cultural communication and business practices, the capacity to communicate with credibility, and engage and negotiate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of industry and across all government jurisdictions
