We are seeking an experienced** Ward Clerk **to join our Intensive Care Unit team at** Warringal Private Hospital.**

**About The Role**

As a Ward Clerk, you are responsible for providing support and assistance to patients and their families within our Intensive Care Unit at Warringal Private Hospital.

You will also assist the reception, administration and clinical teams by coordinating the necessary clerical requirements for patients’ admission to discharge. As these patients often require a high level of care and support, an experienced hospital administrator is an ideal fit for this role.

**Your Skills and Experiences**

To succeed in this role, you will bring a professional administrative skillset and, ideally, experience within the Health Industry. You will be an initiative-taking professional with strong attention to detail and the capability to effectively manage your time throughout the workday. Any experience with Patient Management Systems will be highly desired.

You will also bring.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to cope with demanding situations and strict deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to respect privacy and confidentiality
- Intermediate computer knowledge/ literacy
- Experience within a similar role in a hospital or health care setting will be highly regarded, though not essential
- Knowledge of health fund contracts is highly regarded but not essential
