**How will I help?**

Working in the RCO team you will be responsible for:

- provision of risk oversight, insight and control to stipulated Policy & Guidance
- Risk Class Owner contribution to divisional CRO coverage of divisional risks and issues
- Provision of data management focused risk and control expertise, insight and challenge that influences data management decisions and the effectiveness of data project plans and execution, optimises risk-reward balance and contributes to the attainment of business strategy and objectives.
- Leading the identification and delivery of appropriate 2nd Line activities relating to data management risk, for example conducting a deep dive review of the delivery of a data project or critical elements of a data project delivery plan.
- Collaboration with the Risk and 1st line Risk & Compliance teams to embed and mature the Group's Operational Risk Management Framework including a focus on Data Management Risk, and promote the development of a strong, effective and enduring risk upfront culture in data projects.

**What do I need?**

You will demonstrate 10 + years experience in financial services with extensive risk management experience including technical project delivery or implementation. You will be a competent relationship builder who can effectively communicate with and influence stakeholders. With well-developed business knowledge you will demonstrate the ability to think and act at both a granular and strategic level. A sound understanding of risk concepts, frameworks, policies and procedures, particularly those pertaining to operational risk is required.
