About the Role
- Undertake functions related to coding, grouping and quality to ensure timely and accurate completion of all inpatient coding morbidity data.
- Contribute to fostering a team approach to meeting monthly deadlines, education, consistency of coding and improving data quality.
- Accurately assign specific morbidity and procedural classifications to patient episodes to meet data reporting requirements of Queensland Health.
- The clinical coder is acknowledged as having competent level clinical coding skills and knowledge, across a broad range of specialties.
