Are you ready to further develop your skills within a dynamic and friendly team environment? Located in Clayton, we are now seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Blender.

The hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm and Fridays 7:00am - 1.30pm.

As a Blender, you will primarily ensure that all assigned blends are completed on the shift to achieve daily production expectations. In the factory, you will work closely as part of the Production Team to meet blend schedules, ensure the highest level of attention to detail when managing raw materials and ensure a successful pass rate when blends are laboratory tested.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Accurately weighing, measuring, batching, recording and blending of food products.
- Heavy lifting, loading and operating of blending machines.
- Responsible for the preparation of materials and ingredients that are needed to be added into the formulation.
- Following blending recipes and procedures accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
- Any documentation is done accurately and in a timely manner to ensure a high-quality batch is produced.
- Adhering to standard practices across the whole process for accurately weighing, measuring and mixing, through to the packing and labelling of finished goods.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organised work area,
- Daily and weekly cleaning of work space, and other areas as required.
- Receive and monitor raw material usage and regularly liaise with the Production Manager to ensure adequate raw materials meet production demands.
- Observe all safety, PPE, and quality procedures while completing required tasks.
- Operate blending equipment to produce high-quality products according to specifications. Full training of all processes, equipment and materials handling will be provided.
- Be physically fit to complete minimum KPI’s from start to finish on a daily basis.
- Monitor blending processes and making adjustments as necessary to maintain efficiency and safety.
- Be organised and able to multi-task and have several batches in process at any one time.
- Raise any issues to the Production Manager for resolution.

**Requirements**:

- Must be fluent in english, have the ability to speak effectively to teammates and management.
- Have clear communication, written, verbal and maths skills, the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure operating and maintenance instructions and manuals - all in english.
- Ability to think clearly and understand processes and procedures.
- Need a good level of personal hygiene and maintain cleanliness and organisation of a blending area.
- Willingness to learn and undergo training,
- Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to your role.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
