We have permanent positions available working afternoon shift at our manufacturing plant in Clayton South, Victoria.

Full time role offering a 38 hour week (4-day week, 9.5hrs per day)
Generous conditions and an attractive base rate plus allowances

The Role

Join a high performing team contributing to the manufacture of 24,000,000+ kg of product per year across more than 25 production lines. We have a strong safety culture and are passionate about what we do

Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure successful operation of production equipment
Meet daily production requirements to achieve Process Reliability (PR)
Perform machine set ups & changeovers, maintain flow of product through to packing
Maintain quality of products & associated documentation according to specifications
Communicate with support departments including Quality, Maintenance and Material handlers - escalate in case of deviations and issues.

About You

Reporting to the Shift Leader; you are someone who can think on their feet and enjoys working alongside others in a dynamic and fast paced manufacturing environment. You will be an effective communicator who can engage with all levels of staff and thrives under pressure.

Previous experience working as a Machine Operator or Blender in a food manufacturing environment
Ability to be able to do Heavy Lifting (up to 20kg)
Familiar with HACCP
Computer literate
Team player and good communication skills
Fast learner and open to change and try new approaches
Continuous improvement mindset
