Support Worker

We are currently searching for disability support workers. The role will be aimed at providing care to maximise the social, living and recreational skills of participants.
**Tasks may include, but are not limited to**:
- Assist participants to live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community, remove barriers and engage in a full life
- Personal care including helping participants shower, getting dressed and performing daily activities etc
- Providing social support to participants with disabilities and participants experiencing mental health
- Assisting with light housework duties
- Supporting participants to appointments in the community
- Providing therapy assistance to support the implementation of physical, speech, OT and psychological plans and strategies (as directed by their allied health teams)
- Supporting participants to develop and build self confidence
**You will need**:
*Certificate III in Individual Support (or currently undergoing studies)
*Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (HLTAID0011/HLTAID003)
*Current National Police Check
*NDIS Worker Screening Check
*Working with Children Check
*NDIS worker orientation module certificate of completion
*COVID-19 infection control and prevention training
*Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with full comprehensive car insurance
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: $30.95 per hour
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work
