We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and engaging Medical Receptionist to join our **Eastern Shore Doctors** and **Hobart Skin Cancer Clinic** practices. Our Bellerive clinics are dedicated to providing a personalised, professional, quality healthcare across a comprehensive range of general and specialised medical services. Our clinics have been serving the eastern shore community for over 30 years.

The role is on available on a **Casual**basis, perfect for someone who has a flexible approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Availability on Friday’s is essential for this role, working a minimum of 8 hours per week with option for more hours if required.

**Daily tasks and responsibilities will include**:

- Excellent customer service - you will be the first point of contact for our patients, both in person and on the phone.
- Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records.
- Processing payments, Medicare and third-party claims and reconciliations
- Effective management of patient appointment types
- General administration and daily office duties
- Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager

- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- High level of computer literacy
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

- High level of attention to detail.
- Previous Medical Reception experience would be an advantage however not essential
