**Project Manager**

Are you an experienced and energetic Project Manager, who excels in leading successful change delivery?

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Corporate Operations Group, Operations division to lead and help deliver an industry-wide, mandatory change on the way we send and receive SWIFT messages. The ISO 20022 Program is our multi-year program of work that requires SWIFT payments network participants to adopt the new ISO 20022 MX messaging standards, in order to provide better structured payments that can meet future needs.

The ISO 20022 Program will require you to co-ordinate and govern multiple Stream Leads, working alongside Project Owners, Operation Leads, Technology Leads and Business Analysts. Your key focus will be to drive change across both business and technology, transforming payments and data structures, to meet industry timelines and continuously deliver business outcomes.

If you have experience leading complex multiple stream programmes and you are passionate about change, successful delivery and stakeholder management then we’d love to consider you for this role.

**To excel in this role, you will ideally have**:

- 10+ years’ experience in Project Management, leading complex and multi-stream projects, preferably in the banking industry
- Experience in the delivery of the project life cycle (from initiation, planning through to implementation and closure) as a business-focused project manager using Agile or PRINCE2 methodology
- Payments industry knowledge - familiarity with key concepts and enthusiasm to embrace new technologies and _standards_
- Experience in attending industry working group meetings and mentoring Stream Leads, Business Owners and SMEs through any change standards to be adhered to, including any change management activities that are required
- Extensive and proven stakeholder management skills, manage stakeholder expectations, seek decisions, able to negotiate and influence
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Great presentation skills and confident in public speaking
- Experience in managing project budgets and financials, track resources timesheet and compare actuals against forecast/budget.
- Able to work in the office 3 days a week (Sydney CBD)

**Desired skills include**:

- Understanding of SWIFT, payments and the new SWIFT ISO 20022 messaging standards
- Willingness to lean in and assist the project team as and when required to ensure delivery timelines and excellence.
- Change Management certification
