**Data Analyst**

Rubix Solutions is a boutique recruitment company working for some of the biggest blue chip clients globally. Our client, a Big4 consulting outfit are looking to hire a Data Analyst to work on the OneDefence Data Program Data Factory.

This role can be based in Canberra or Melbourne and has work from home options. Contract or Permanent.

**For this role you will need to hold NV1 Security Clearance or above.**

**Key Requirements**
- Need Nv1 security clearance or above
- NOT a visualization or statistical modelling or machine learning role. Similarly PowerBI and Python are not important as this stage.
- Experience in Data Warehousing and Database Modelling, such as dimension tables and ERD.
- Experience in building Data Models, Star Schema for large data sets.
- Some level of experience in Data Mapping and Migration Scripting
- Some level of experience in ETL Design, Development and Testing.
- Some level of experience supporting Data Engineers and Tech Ba's.
- Some level of experience in SQL Querying, reporting and documentation.
- For clarity: Data Modelling
- Understands relationships, cardinality, and optionality.
- Understands normalisation and denormalization.
- Understands conceptual, logical, physical modelling.
- In terms of overall experience, Defence/Federal/Government experience is preferred over Enterprise experience.
- In terms of software, we are looking for experience/knowledge in order of, **Oracle (Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is very good), Teradata and SQL DB.**:

- Azure and AWS are not show stoppers but preference is for the above.
- NOT Azure Data factory or Azure DataBricks, as these are in a different ballpark to the software currently used on the project.
