We are looking for Personal Care Workers to join our team on a casual basis, with AM and PM shifts currently available. In this role, you will assist clients with their daily living activities under the guidance of our case managers and scheduling team, helping to enhance their well-being and ensure that care is delivered to the highest standards.

As a Personal Care Worker, you will be part of an integrated team dedicated to providing personalized care within a clinical care framework. Your role is essential in maintaining high-quality care and improving the quality of life for our clients.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, the Aged Care Act, and Quality of Care Principles.
- Reliability in adhering to a set roster and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of WH&S practices and infection control.
- Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support (or in progress).
- Previous experience in the aged care sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- Current NDIS clearance, police check, proof of the right to work, and an up-to-date immunization certificate (including influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations, with booster).

- Enhance the overall quality of life by addressing clients' emotional and lifestyle interests.
- Implement care interventions as directed by case managers and outlined in clients' care plans.
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene needs while fostering their independence.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, delivering care with compassion and dignity.
- Show kindness and patience, respecting clients' individual needs, privacy, dignity, choice, and self-esteem.
- Commit to continuous quality improvement in care delivery.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week
