ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing standout social media strategies that engage, inspire, and grow our community. You will create on-brand, compelling content, build meaningful relationships with influencers and content creators, and drive brand awareness while optimising performance across platforms.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Own the monthly content calendar, ensuring alignment with key campaigns, messaging, and business goals.
- Manage scheduling and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Craft engaging, on-brand captions that speak to our audience and drive action.
- Ensure all posts are optimised with clear CTAs, product tags, and links for a seamless customer journey.

Content Creation & Trend Spotting
- Produce high-quality, aesthetic, and engaging content that embodies the brand.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the table.

Building the FeathernWeave Community
- Partner with PR, influencers, and content creators to maximise exposure and build social advocacy.
- Implement social-first tactics to continuously grow engagement and following.

Reporting & Analysis
- Track, measure, and analyse performance to ensure content is optimised and continuously improving.
- Share insights on customer feedback, behaviour, and social media benchmarks.

Brand Values & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with social media policies and industry regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with experience in content planning and execution.
- Creative flair with an eye for aesthetics, able to capture and edit compelling, on-brand content.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, building effective relationships across teams and with external partners.
- Experience in retail or fashion, with an understanding of industry trends and customer behaviour.
- Proficiency in social media tools, editing apps, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Photoshop.
- A degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience and a strong portfolio of work.
