**Your new company**
Your new company is a reputable third-level education provider looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their established safety team to look after safety for refurbishment projects that are happening in their campus.
**Your new role**
In your new role you will be responsible for:
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of projects to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and organisation policies
- Provide onsite support and advice to site contractor teams, project delivery team managers and project managers
- Ensure contractor safety documentation is reviewed to ensure appropriate and effective controls are in place for the project scope of works, and up to date
- Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures
- Lead risk assessment and management efforts within the designated work area, overseeing the identification of risks, development of mitigation strategies, and adherence to safety standards
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to succeed, you will ideally:
- Hold a relevant educational qualification in Health & Safety
- Have significant work experience within Health & Safety
