About the role
About the Opportunity
Effective and efficient corporate services are foundational enablers of FVREE’s work with victim survivors. The Finance Officer is responsible for the essentially paperless accounts payable function, responding to accounts related queries with a high level of customer service, and supporting associated month end/financial year end processes including the annual external audit. This role works closely with and supports the Brokerage Programs, which provide material aid and other forms of support to FVREE’s clients experiencing and responding to family violence.
Essential to your Success
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (minimum).
- At least 3 years’ current experience in an accounts payable role, with a small to medium enterprise, including solid understanding of GST and withholding obligations.
- Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to take tasks through to completion, whilst working under pressure, and to meet predetermined/tight/competing deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- A continuous improvement approach in fulfilling all tasks.
- Strict observance of the confidentiality of sensitive information.
