The role you could play

We are seeking a values-driven Centre Coordinator to help Co-ordinate the smooth operations of Dee Why Corps and Community Centre and to provide leadership, direction and support to direct Employee report(s) and team of Volunteers.

You will successfully
- Provide effective line management and supervision to Cleaner ensuring the completion of all employee related administration processes in an accurate, timely manner and in compliance with TSA policy and procedures
- Provide effective line management and supervision to team of Volunteers including recruitment, training and induction processes, document management and compliance requirements in line with TSA policy and procedures.
- Property Maintenance and management: oversee the repairs, coordinate cleaning, supply management and storage in the building, ensure equipment in good working order. Shared responsibility for building with Corps officer which may include responding to urgent building related matters that may require afterhours involvement/response.
- Finance: On-site management of banking and associated documentation such as recording count sheets and planned giving, petty cash reconciliation, clearing imprest account.
- Pastoral care: provide pastorally support through facilitation of support groups targeted at ageing Sunday congregation and Sunday worship service to include rosters, opening/ closing/ set up and pack up, phone calls, cards, newsletters, organising practical support and prayer for faith community members.

This is a part time position, 16hrs fixed term. Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Clerks Private Sector Award.

You will bring
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Administration
- Relevant qualification in Business Administration preferred.
- A commitment to the Christian faith and mission of TSA
- A National Criminal History Check is required
