**About the Role**

This position supports the Business Resilience Manager to innovate and uplift icare’s overall approach and maturity in business continuity management (BCM) including incident and crisis management.

You will collaborate and align with all parts of the business including the various insurance schemes and key third parties, physical & cyber security, privacy & fraud, and disaster recovery (DR) teams to ensure icare is well-prepared to anticipate, respond to and recover from potentially disruptive events.

**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a **Business Resilience Advisor **you will:

- Engage key stakeholders across the organisation proactively throughout the business continuity lifecycle from the analysis and planning through to testing and review.
- Enable respective business owners/stakeholders to confidently deliver effective outcomes related to the Risk Assessments, Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plans, and training exercises.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders relevant to icare’s BCM and raise their maturity in this area where they understand the value of it in the context of their respective business units and collectively as an organisation.
- Drive innovation of BCM at icare through more innovative tools/technology and robust methodologies that provide data-driven insights and end-user friendly processes.

**Skills & Experience**
- Relevant, recent experience in a similar role, ideally in the government sector or financial services industry.
- Proven hands-on experience in business resilience, business continuity, operational resilience, crisis management or emergency planning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, experienced in facilitating online and face-to-face training with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Technical skills and experience with creating, adopting or leading technology solutions and expertise in a Line 1 or 2 risk function are highly advantageous.
