**About the Role**

This is a senior role which will autonomously manage and oversee icare’s business resilience framework, which consists of the Business Continuity Management policy and processes and Incident and Crisis Management processes. The role has one direct report and will report into a General Manager, and work across the organisation up to the Group Executive level.

**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as **Business Resilience Manager** you will:

- Develop and maintain an organisational business resiliency framework, that aligns with icare’s enterprise Risk Management Framework. Undertake analysis and prepare advice on the implementation of the framework to ensure any risks and issues are promptly addressed and the framework is fit for purpose.
- Ensure appropriate continuity processes, systems and guidance documentation are in place and maintained and that appropriate crisis management response procedures are identified and detailed to ensure an effective response to major business interruptions.
- Undertake regular reviews and testing of the processes under the business resilience framework to ensure continuing appropriateness of the framework to meet the changing environment and emerging risks.
- Facilitate business impact and disruption assessment workshops and monitor enterprise and operational disruptive risks across icare to highlight any area of special need.
- Coordinate icare’s crisis management and incident response teams and provide for ongoing continuous improvement in capacity and capability.
- Design and advise on effective assurance plans and provide solutions and recommendation from lessons learnt and emerging risks drawing on industry experience and external insights and peer learning, to continually strengthen the business resilience framework.

**Skills & Experience**
- At least 5 years’ experience in roles which are dedicated to business resilience, business continuity and/or operational resilience.
- Experience in operational risk frameworks and as a risk practitioner, ideally in the insurance sector.
- A range of experience in analysing and reporting on organisational resilience strategies.
- Experience in designing and delivering capability development such as training and exercising.
- Capability to coordinate operational and strategic response to disruptive events, crisis, or incidents.
