**About the Role**
The purpose of this role is to be the key strategic partner for a portfolio of VMLY&R Melbourne clients.

Do this by being a champion for our clients' strategic imperatives and the most effective way in which our work can achieve them.

This role will be measured by quality of work, client satisfaction, peer review.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Guidance **- Instil in the team, agency and among clients, best-in-class strategic thinking, problem solving, creative salesmanship and presentation skills.
- **Creative Inspiration **- Generating insights and perspectives that provoke the most powerful creative solutions to our clients' problems.
- **Client Go-To **- Be the strategic go-to on an account for strategic governance, thought leadership and best practices across our full range of capabilities.
- **Team Support & Mentorship **- Building up the team's competencies and quality of their brand and design thinking and contributing to the team and company culture.
- **Heads, Hearts, Hands **- Champion a strategic approach that combines insightful thinking with passion for bringing out the best in others and rolling up your own sleeves when required, embrace the "doing" of strategy.
- **Contribution to New Business **- Assist in crafting and delivery of strategic responses for New Business pitches.

**Required Experience/Skills/Capabilities**
- Strategic problem-finding and solving skills and experience
- Experience and confidence presenting to, and debating a point of view with, Senior clients / C-Level execs and Creative teams
- Able to craft strategy through all steps of the process, across the full range of our offering - Brand, Experience, Communications, Commerce, Data and Technology (with support from the rest of the team)
- A hunger to get out from the desk and into the real world to source unique insights and opportunities
- Naturally collaborative, with a growth mindset, and a focus on team achievement and inspiring better work in others.
