**Start date: 20 Jan 2025**
**Contract term: 1 year and ongoing thereafter**
**Pay: $35-40 per hour depending on experience**

A loving family in Willoughby are seeking an experienced and trustworthy nanny to assist in the care of their 2 boys (3 and 6 years of age).

Normal days: 3 Afternoons per week..
Days hours are:
Tuesday: 3:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Thursday: 3:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Friday: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

An ideal nanny would be caring kind and responsive. A nanny that is also friendly, happy and interested to actively engage with the boys.

The family is looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy, responsible and reliable and is able to care for the children and follow routines.

A nanny who is able to to be firm in maintaining rules and be proactive in helping and supporting the family and building a long term relationship.

**The carers responsibilities for this role will be as follows**:

- To care for the children
- Pick the eldest from school (short walk) and youngest from day care (short drive)
- Play and engage with the children
- Assist with homework
- Light household chores - if possible where time permits, it would be appreciated if the nanny can help out with folding laundry, putting the dinner dishes in the dishwasher or packing the next day s lunchbox.
- Help prep cook dinners (Mostly reheating but if able to prep a few vegetables and cook simple extras to go with the meal that would be greatly appreciated)

**The family s expectations from their nanny are**:

- 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualifications preferred (Not essential)
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Working With Children s Check
- Display strong communication skills and speaks English (If the nanny happens to also speak Swedish that would be a welcome bonus)
- Non smoking
- Fit and active
- Full drivers license and clean driving record
