**THE ROLE**
This newly created position will provide essential support to the Capital Works service unit at Singleotn Council. The natural diversity of your role means that every day will be different. Your role will include setting up a tracking system to effectively manage deadlines, reporting requirements, and process development in respect to Infrastructure Services Capital Works Projects. By providing high level administrative support to the Capital Works team and Project Managers you will contribute to important community outcomes and making a real impact for Singleton. In this role you will:
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for business processes that enhance functionality and provide efficiencies, including a funding tracking system.
- Support and coordinate the capital funding program for Infrastructure Services, including the management and tracking of milestones, payments and reporting requirements for all funding sources.
- Monitor and support the completion of funding acquittals relevant to Infrastructure Service using Councils Grants Register.
- Provide regular reporting of the acquittal outputs relevant to Infrastructure Service
- Work with Project Managers to ensure Projects are compliant with all funding agreement requirements.
**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Qualifications in Project Management, Business, Administration, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge and in providing high-level business assistance and or business administration.
- Strong customer service focus with proven capability to deliver high quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to negotiate and communicate with influence.
- Proven ability to work unsupervised and take initiative in decision making process
This position is offered on a **2-year temporary contract **working **35** hours per week.
Remuneration for this position is based on **GRADE 10** of the salary system which equates to a base salary between **$72,088.12 - $81,089.84** per annum plus superannuation.
